Goran Knežević
Engineer. Project Manager. Entrepreneur.
Hi, I’m Goran — a mechatronics engineer, entrepreneur, project manager, and technical project lead with more than 17 years of experience in product development across the automotive industry, mechatronics, and IoT systems. I currently lead the technical side of acquisition and quotation for smart vehicle-access systems at AUMOVIO (formerly Continental Automotive), where I previously led development of interior electronic control units. I’m also working on my own projects, which I’ll be writing more about on this site’s blog and in the Projects section.
I live and breathe project management, and I’m a certified PMI PMP. I enjoy building new products.
The path here
I’ve built my career across international companies, leading teams and developing products from first prototype to series production for customers around the world. From Skidata and Skiline, through KEBA and ERWE, to Sporfie, PSlab Lighting, and my own startup Kuc-Kuc — and automotive projects as well. More in the Projects section.
I hold master’s degrees in Mechatronics and Entrepreneurship, and I spent one school year volunteering to teach Mechatronics to high schoolers.
Outside of work
I’m Marija’s husband, and Vuk’s, Iva’s, and Matija’s dad.
I love books and read a lot — you can see what I’ve taken away from them in the Books section.
This site
Its purpose is to inform and inspire — I believe knowledge multiplies when it’s shared, and that big things start with small steps, which sometimes just need a little push. In the Projects section you can see what I’ve worked on (it’s useful for me too, as a reminder) and what I’m working on now (it’ll come in handy a few years from now). The Blog covers what I’m currently thinking about or working on. There’s also a CV, in case anyone wonders, after reading the Projects and Blog pages, what it actually looks like (I’m not expecting any recruiters to wander in here). See the blog for how this site itself was built, and feel free to copy it all.
